I've been doing a lot of reading lately... ...and, in all honesty, I've read more books in the past two years than I had in the preceding twelve or thirteen combined (which is a sad-but-true commentary on the life of a television writer). I figured that if I'm going to write prose, I need to read prose. More and more of it. I kick myself at the thought of all those years gone to dust when I could have been swept away by good books, only to have squandered my time with less-than-enriching entertainment options. No time like the present, however... Here's a list of books (with links) that I've read since April of 2003. The list is in reverse chronological order (more or less). I'm sure you'll probably notice an extremely obvious pattern... but, hey, I like what I like and make no apologies. Besides... I've got a lot of catching up to do as a result of all those aforementioned squandered years! |
